A PRAYER FOR PALESTINE and all oppressed peoples

I am nature and nature is me - My bones from the earth and my blood from the sea

I see no distinction - All from the same tree - Yet your soul’s imprisoned… and mine? Proud and free

Where you hold fear, I allow only love - For I’ve learned, as below - so be it above

You can kill me, defile me; burn me to cinder - But my glory you cannot diminish nor hinder

For I sense my oneness - I feel the earth’s breath - While you dream of resources, power and death

You can never possess what all know to be mine - A grand home shall be built from the seeds and the rind

For I am an heir of omnipotent peace - Abundance flows through me - I know not decrease

I trust The Creator - I’ll move in Their way - Through injustice and bondage, I fight, serve and pray

My brave heart will continue  - My wisdom shall grow - I now banish all worry and doubt, for I know…

Liberation soon cometh, from river to sea - Because I am nature and nature is me
